TVU Specially Invited to Broadcast Singapore's National Day Parade (NDP) 2008 Live –
Mountain View, CA - July 24, 2008 - TVU networks, a leading global Internet TV service, has been specially invited by 1-Net, the official webcaster of NDP 2008, as a webcast partner to broadcast the Singapore's NDP 2008 live over the Internet. Singapore's NDP is a yearly celebration held on August 9th to commemorate Singapore's independence. This year's NDP marks Singapore's 43rd year of independence. The event will be held in Marina Bay, and will start on August 9th, 2008, at 18:00 Singapore time. As an official webcaster of NDP 2008, 1-Net's streaming network caters to overseas associations and institutions to enable their members to gather in groups to watch NDP 2008 live. To extend reach and coverage for the event, 1-Net has invited TVU as a webcast partner. TVU Networks' TVUPlayer allows users to view live television broadcasts from around the world which are not readily available on regional cable and satellite services.
