How to send live TV to millions people on the earth

This is quick guide on how to be a TV broadcaster with TVUBroadcast software. You can find more support information at www.tvunetworks.com.

Step 1. Download and Install the software

To be a broadcaster you need two pieces of software: Microsoft Media Encoder and TVUBroadcast.
Microsoft Media Encoder can be downloaded here or here
After you downloaded the windows media encoder, install it.
TVUBroadcast can be downloaded here

After you click the above link, you will see the following dialog

After the download is complete you will see

Congratulations! You can install all the needed software.

Step 2. Know about your bandwidth

To find what your upload and download speed are, click http://www.speedtest.net:

 

Step 3. Set up Windows Media Encoder

Step 3.1, start Windows Media Encoder

Step 3.2, Create New session with Wizards

Step 3.3 Select Audio and Video devices

Step 3.4, Choose Broadcast Method

Step 3.5, Choose output port

Step 3.6, Select Encoding bit rate

Step 3.7, Complete the wizard

Step 3.8, Save the configuration

 

Step 3.9, Start Encoding

Step 4. Start TVUBroadcast

You need a TVU account to be able to broadcast.

1)  Visit the website, http://pages.tvunetworks.com/accounts/viewRegister.do

2)  Follow instructions to fill out the form. Click "Sumbit" button

3)   TVU BDCenter will give you prompt message and send out an activation email to your email box.

4)  Check the email in your email box and click the URL to active your user account. Some mail server, like hotmail, will filter the active email as junk email. So you should check the junk box in your email box.

Once you have your TVU account you are ready to broadcast.
